
SAMPE NORTH AMERICA SEEKS ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS FOR TECHNICAL COMMITTEES
Monday, July 11, 2022, DIAMOND BAR, CA –The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) is seeking volunteers — SAMPE members and non-members — who are willing to actively engage with the Society and their peers to share their expertise, interest, and networks in developing the following technical committees (TC). We invite active, diverse (industry, career stage, gender, geography, etc.) volunteers to join us.

“SAMPE welcomes participation from professionals who are interested in developing technology solutions to modern-day challenges,” said Raj Manchanda, Chief Technology Officer at SAMPE North America. “Collectively we can accelerate the circular economy and clean energy solutions for a net-zero future. Material and process innovations will assist in the development of novel transportation/mobility, energy generation and storage, and construction and infrastructure options for the environment and our community.”
Each SAMPE Technical Committee will develop their purpose, formulate their own meeting schedule, and hold regular online meetings throughout the year, with in-person meetings at industry conferences such as the SAMPE Conference & Exhibition and the Composites and Advanced Materials Exp (CAMX). Attention will be paid to state-of-the-art advances, opportunities and challenges within each committee’s purview and will be disseminated to the M&P community on a regular basis.
Further criteria:
- TC members are not required to be SAMPE members.
- They are expected to be actively engaged in all aspects of the work undertaken by the group.
- Each TC will participate in an annual report available to the industry.
