SAMPE NORTH AMERICA APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF CONVENTION OPERATIONS AND MEETINGS

Tuesday, May 10, 2022, DIAMOND BAR, CA – The Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (SAMPE) North America today announced that Neeta Lakhani, CMP, CEM, has joined the SAMPE team as the Director of Convention Operations and Meetings. Lakhani will work with SAMPE volunteers and staff to ensure that the organization’s events foster a dynamic business exchange and offer an elevated attendee experience by managing the overall logistics for the Society’s annual tradeshows, as well as other conferences and meetings. 

Neeta managed exhibit, conference, sponsorship, and special events logistics for multiple brands in photography, drone, graphic design, luxury jewelry, designer furniture, and educational furniture markets at Emerald for eleven years. Previously, she worked at a third-party meeting planning company supporting numerous associations and corporate clients throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Neeta graduated with a BA, in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton, and an M.Ed., Post-Secondary Administration and Student Affairs, from the University of Southern California.
